Looking for a creative, impactful way to get your students involved in Food Waste Prevention Week? We think we have a little something for everyone.
Have your students take the Pledge to reduce food waste in their life. Check out our Teachers Workshop on Saturday, April 2nd to learn strategies for reducing food waste in K-12 schools, including how to teach your students to conduct their own food waste audits. The first 30 teachers to register and complete activities are eligible for a $300 stipend!
Sign up your class for our Food Future Hack-a-Thon or K-12 Student Art Contest. Looking for some fantastic in-class teaching resources? We've got those too.
Follow @SavetheFoodFL and play our social media game "Bad Apple Bingo" starting Monday, April 4, 2022. Tag #savethefoodfl for a chance to win daily prizes, with additional drawings on Friday, April 8.
There's a lot to plug into this year for Food Waste Prevention Week, and we think we've put together some fantastic ways to help you introduce this important topic to your students.
